An imaginary lexicon of local beings- crossbreeds of plants, animals, microorganisms and minerals. The book offers an absurd, poetic, pseudo-scientific journey to discover the lives of the seen and unseen beings around us. The project’s materials have been collected and assembled from out-of-print botanical guides, zoology books and natural world encyclopedias.The lexicon draws from the world of western knowledge systems which tend to classify living beings in hierarchical models.
