Flora chronicles the tragic/comic relationship between the overly judgmental head and submissive body of a womanchild. Flora’s autonomous head is opinionated, cynical, harsh, rude and funny, always putting her body down. Her body is human, awkward, free spirited and shy, lingering behind her bossy head, or lugging it around. She tolerates the head’s abusive remarks in silence, perhaps understanding of the head’s own insecurity. And so they go through life in a bitter but also hilarious co-dependence.
